Tbilisi (GBC) - In 2024, the adjusted hourly gender pay gap equaled 11.4 percent, according to the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat). The same indicator calculated at the monthly level equaled 19.3%.

As of the document, compared to the previous year, the hourly gender pay gap decreased by 1.8 percentage points, while the monthly gender pay gap decreased by 1.6 percentage points.

In 2024, the adjusted hourly gender wage gap in the industry was 13.9%, and in services - 11%.

According to the occupation, the highest hourly gender pay gap was observed in Technicians and associate professionals’ positions (26.0%), while Professionals (23.7%) held the second place.
