Tbilisi (GBC) - According to Creditinfo, the volume of money transfers has decreased in June compared to May. Beneficiaries registered 636,325 transfers , with a total volume of 265 million USD.

As you know, transfers have been added to the information stored in the credit information bureau since 01.03.2023, and as of 01.07.2024, more than 10 million (10,157,264) transfers with a volume of up to $4.5 billion ($4,478,554,000) have been registered.

The creditor has access to the income received through remittances only on the basis of the client's consent.

According to the information of the business partner, in total, the number of unique persons receiving the transfer in the country is within 300,000. According to the NBG, remittances of $281 million were received in June, of which up to 95%, $265.1 million, entered the Creditinfo database.

The addition of referrals to Creditinfo's liability database is intended to facilitate lending to potential borrowers with referral income.

In the fall of 2022, the NBG made changes to the regulation of the bureau, and the recipient of the message, the user of the bank, MFO, or PSP can inform the bureau at will. PSP (payment service provider) has joined the Creditinfo database since March of this year.
