Tbilisi (GBC) – The Delegation of the European Union to Georgia announced that since 1992, the EU has allocated more than €2 billion in grants to the country, supporting infrastructure, job creation, education, and environmental protection.

According to the EU Delegation’s statement on social media, every euro invested was aimed at improving the daily lives of Georgian citizens, from modernizing roads, hospitals, and schools to strengthening local communities, entrepreneurs, and young innovators.

“For more than 30 years, the EU has been helping Georgian citizens to seize new economic and social opportunities through programmes such as TRACECA, EU4Business, ENPARD, and EU4Youth,” the statement reads.
