Tbilisi (GBC)- Natia Turnava, President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), and Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with Bo Li, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), during the 2025 Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank in Washington.

Turnava briefed Li on Georgia’s efforts to maintain a sustainable fiscal position and ensure price stability.

The two sides discussed regional and global challenges, emphasizing the importance of cooperation.

Bo Li reaffirmed the IMF’s commitment to continue supporting Georgia and assisting the NBG with various reforms.

The meeting was also attended by NBG Vice Presidents Ekaterine Mikabadze and Ekaterine Galdava, Deputy Finance Ministers Giorgi Kakauridze and Ekaterine Guntsadze, and Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vakhtang Tsintsadze.
