Tbilisi (GBC) – According to statistics from the global trade database (UN Comtrade), Georgia ranked 24th among countries exporting wine to Brazil in 2025. Last year, 20,000 liters of Georgian wine, valued at $50,000 USD, entered this major South American market, with an average export price of $3.14 per liter.

In total, Brazil imported wine worth $558.71 million (165.09 million liters) in 2025, at an average price of $3.38 per liter.

Chile remains the undisputed leader of the Brazilian market, accounting for nearly half (47.3%) of the total volume of imported wine - 78.10 million liters valued at $213.06 million - and offering the lowest average price ($2.73/liter). The top ten also includes Argentina ($99.42 million), Portugal ($84.44 million), France ($63.84 million), and Italy ($49.26 million).

Among European countries, French wine stands out with the highest average price ($9.27 per liter).
