Tbilisi (GBC) - In December last year, local exports amounted to $297.9 million. This indicator is 6.2% less than the same period of the previous year (December 2021 - $317.6 million).

In the reporting period, the largest part of local exports, 24.5%, was made in China. A total of $73 million worth of products were exported from Georgia to China.

Russia is in second place with 12.4%. A total of $36.9 million worth of products were sold in Russia.

Bulgaria is third with 9.4%. A total of $28 million worth of products were exported to Bulgaria.

 

The TOP-3 local export products of December:

1. Copper ores and concentrates - 44.3 thousand tons of $91.4 million.

2. Chemical, mineral or nitrogen fertilizers - 55.6 thousand tons of $32.3 million.

3. Wine - 6.8 million liters of $19.7 million.

The sum of these three products makes up 48.1% of the total local exports.
