Tbilisi (GBC) - According to preliminary estimates from the National Statistics Service (GeoStat), Georgia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 11.1% in January 2025 year-on-year.

GeoStat highlighted that significant contributions to this growth came from sectors such as professional, scientific, and technical services, as well as transport and storage, construction, information and communication, manufacturing, and trade.

However, a downward trend was noted in the mining and quarrying sector.
